Pride PEI

featured project

Volume18 worked with PRIDEPEI to develop a campaign for the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia which was on May 17, 2021. The campaign called Take A Stand was designed to encourage individuals to stand up for 2SLGBTQIA+ rights. The campaign highlighted that celebrating isn’t the only way to support the PRIDE community. It was now time for allies to help stand against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.

The campaign’s call to action encouraged individuals to take a video or picture standing up against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia and share it on May 17, 2021. To get the message out to the public social media posts, a media release and a letter to community and government leaders was drafted and released in advance of the day. The campaign also saw the design of multiple Facebook and Instagram graphics highlighting ways in which individuals could take a stand, educate themselves and change their language.
